Business Development Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our small but growing team in Indonesia. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys independence, takes initiative, and wants to grow their career in tech and events.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting
    • Identify and reach out to potential clients via email, LinkedIn, calls, events, network and referrals.
    • Research industry segments like event organizers, corporates, associations, or agencies.
  • Qualifying & Presenting
    • Understand client needs and match them with the right solutions (event system, on-site support, etc.).
    • Give product demos and presentations (online or in-person).
    • ⁠Customize proposals and follow up on client interest.
  • Quotation & Closing
    • Prepare quotations, commercial offers, and pitch decks.
    • Negotiate terms and close deals
    • Draft agreements or pass info to the admin team for processing.
  • Post-Sales Roles
    • Manage the operation and customer experience
    • Manage clients accounts pre, during and post event
  • Reporting & Coordination
    • Update CRM and pipeline reports regularly.
    • ⁠⁠Join sales syncs with the Malaysia team and share market insights

Who You Are

  • 0–2 years of experience in a sales or administrative role
  • Fresh graduates with internship and campus organizational experience are also encouraged to apply
  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, tech, or events is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Organized and consistent in following up with leads
  • Proficient in email, Zoom/Google Meet, and office tools
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia with good English communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience in event management or SaaS (software-as-a-service).
  • Able to travel occasionally for client meetings or events (if needed).
  • Previous experience working remotely or with international teams.
